Here are some of the multi-word verbs we have studied. Can you think of (and write) examples for the words without examples?

- You are putting the pen in your pocket.
- turn off
- You are turning the lights off to save energy.
- take out
- You take the trash out every morning.
- She opened her purse and took out a coin.

- Işıl is always angry with me, because I never pick up my dirty clothes from the floor.

- She couldn’t do her skirt up because she is fat.
- Everybody was laughing, because the teacher forgot to do up his trousers after going to the toilet.
